Son watched the Vols today for 5 innings. He said Bethune-Cookman was awful. His take on the Vols was that Hochever has nasty stuff, but the Vols need help in the bullpen for relief pitching.
If you get past the Vols first four hitters in their lineup, then not much offensive production. Catcher J.P. Arencibia looked good for the Vols along with outfielder Josh Alley.
He said the relief pitcher for Bethune-Cookman lit the radar gun up around 68-75 and had a blistering fastball once of 76! He walked the first 3 Vols he faced on 12 straight balls.
He said the left field fence is now a mighty 320.
Bethune-Cookman falls to 0-8 on the year.
Go Vols.
