My son is a sophmore and interested in getting in front of the Wake Forest Coaching staff. They don't attend Headfirst and we're not sure what showcases they are at. We visited the campus this winter and saw a game while we were there. He loves the school. Has anyone had an experience at this camp?

My son went to their camp last year. First class camp and is their primary scouting event. If you want to play at Wake and he has the grades needed I would highly recommend it.
Before you go to any camp a little homework is in order. Do you have the ability to play at the level of the school is the major question. If yes and it's where you want to go then it might be worth the investment. It is not however the most important recruiting event for any school. No school can afford to only recruit players who show up to their camps. It doesn't work that way.
My son went to the camp in fall of '10 as a sophomore. Great experience, 1st class event, top notch coaching / instruction.

Of course it is a top national university, student needs the grades and curriculum to get in, and they work very hard once they get there. Admissions process just went 'test optional' a couple of years ago. Wake has one of the most challenging admission applications I have ever seen, and also a very tough interview process.

Sultan - any coach willing to donate an organ to a player is a hero in my book, and certainly is someone we can trust as a role model for our guys Smile
