Kelly pitched against our DBAT team this past fall while playing for the FW Cats. He's legit and has a very bright future ahead of him.

I've wondered about this kid. My son and I both enjoyed greatly watching him in the LL World Series and felt like he had a promising future ahead. Glad to hear he's doing well!

He is a good one. I got to see him pitch in a tournament last year as a freshman. He did not look like a freshman, he looked like a kid that had been playing varsity baseball for about 3 years.

He had great stuff and threw all 3 pitches for strikes. If he can stay away from overuse and or any other major injuries, he has a bright future.

Every college prospect form I get, I list him!

Walker is a great looking player. As a "young" soph. he is about 6' 170ish... FB touches 91 consistently upper 80"s.. he has a futre in the game (not nec. MLB) as long as he stay healthy and doesn't pitch year 'round...

Saw him play for Heights yesterday afternoon. He played a solid centerfield and cleared the fence once against Colleyville Heritage's Matt Lane. Like other's have said, he looks older than a sophomore; actually jotted down a note that his arms have the muscle definition usually seen on 23- or 24-year-old hitters.

I've also seen Walker Kelly play WR for Heights and he's just a good athlete. It appears that playing both football and baseball works for Walker. Football seems to have made Walker a tougher player on the mound and in the field.

saw walker kelly pitch against paschal the kids fastball is about the same as last season... over powering against average ball clubs, can't wait to see this kid against a legit program.

FWIW - We have seen Walker Kelly pitch against one of the top lineups possible. (Chet Lemon Juice) They are far from average having nearly every player heading to top DI programs including U of Texas. They also have several potential high draft picks on that team. I think everyone would call them more than a legit program.

Walker Kelly pretty much dominated that line up. Everyone has a bad day once in awhile, but I don't think Walker will have many of those at the high school level. JMO

That's good cuz I hear the left side of their infield has been struggling

no the left side of their infield is very solid. Jeff Jones and Kyle Livingstone, it doesn't get to much better than that. Actually i would worry about the right side of the infield or the outfield with this team.
