Seems like a lot more than18,799 people in the stadium.
Baseball in Taiwan can be insane as well as fun to watch. TMM is headed back this week for his third season. His battery mate will be Kungkuan Giljegiljaw, featured in the second video.
Tim first played there in 2020 after the minor leagues were shut down for Covid. At the time, the pandemic was non-existent on the island. The stadiums were crowded with enthusiastic fans. 2021 brought an explosion of covid cases that shut down baseball for a month or more midway through the schedule. The season ended with sparsely filled stadiums until the playoffs. The commotion didn't quite reach the heights of the previous season. (I'm not sure how 2022 finished, crowd-wise since Tim was stateside recovering from an injury that happened in the next to last 2021 championship game for the UniLions.) It's good to see things have returned to 'normal'.
Here is a link to his 2020 Championship Game 6 appearance against the Brothers (yellow uniforms). The volume and crowd involvement really soar when the Brothers are batting at home.
