mines,

Don't sell yourself short! You are a wall behind the plate! You also have a lot of pop in your bat. Good luck to you up there in Colorado.

Speaking of snow...we finished up tryouts yesterday hitting in our batting cages. About half way during the workout, IT STARTED SNOWING!!! About that time, one of my players said that "he could not believe we were playing in the snow." I told him, "son we are just hitting in the snow. If the field were dry, we'd be PLAYING in the snow just like the teams up in the Northern part of the country!" He looked at me and said, "coach, you are crazy!" My reply, "don't ever forget it!" They'll be fine, soon as you play your first non district game and the coach leaves the #1 in for 150 pitches when it's 40 degrees, it'll get in shape in a hurry.

JUST KIDDING

That was funny except that it happened to me freshman year, thrown 85 pitches with no warmup in 40 degrees, that did wonders for the arm

and whats even funnier is that i started that game and threw 138 pitches when it was 40 degrees with a wind chill making it 30. then i got a speech about how it was my coaches fault and that i wont be pitching for another month.

these were the best days of baseball for me.
