New to this site, first post so please forgive me if this isn't the place for this thread.
Posting this for my son. I don't mind spending the money for something that works but have been hoodwinked more than enough times so am asking for advice.
The Web Gem glove care system. Is this worth the $79.95 or is it just a gimmick?????? Also the shapes look right hand throw specific. My son's a lefty so should I just pass on this????

Got one for my son's catcher's mitt. Jury is still out as the glove is not quite game-ready, but so far, so good...
My son is also a lefty and he uses the flared WebGem and it works great! I'm going to get another one for his outfielders glove for Christmas.
Outstanding product. Bought my 2016 a new All Star catchers mitt so I invested in the WebGem. It has really formed the glove well after the first couple days, break in time took only a few pens (not sure if that was because of the glove quality). The neoprene bag is great quality and should help to keep it looking new. I had a hard time with the $79 but I am now glad I did.
I agree with the positive comments. My son has one for his fielders glove as well as his primary and backup catchers mitts. Well worth it IMO.
OK, I'm sold.
Just ordered one from baseballexpress.com. They are on backorder however, with an expected ship date of 12/16. I don't really need it for Christmas so I'm not concerned. The good news is they have a 15% off storewide with free shipping so that gets the price down to $67.99.
Pretty good deal especially if you are ordering something like a high dollar bat.
Took my son out to an indoor facility last night and after batting he took the catchers glove out for the first time in several weeks to receive some machine pitches to shake some rust off. He loved how the glove felt and the shape of the pocket. So I'm upgrading to two thumbs up.
