I've come on asking for used bats recently, and now I'd like to ask for 'pants sponsors' (long story about the pants).

For you new folks, we are an overseas American high school and our parents are here in support of the mission in the Pacific region. Our resources are quite limited.

Uniform Pants: we need 'em. I'm looking for a pant sponsor for each boy and have found inexpensive black pants at BaseballExpress - under ten bucks, closeout.
These are the pants

These are my boys and their adult pant sizes if you'd like to sponsor one of them!:

Colton - (my son, and I'll get his pants)
Greg M. - med
Zack B. - lg
Casey D. - lg
Chung W. - med
Austin L. - med
Billy H. - med
Nate S. - med
Will C. - lg
Ryan B. - med
Chris H. - lg

If you'd like to sponsor one of the boys with a pair of pants , please post your claim by player name below so I can keep track. You will receive a nice thank you from your player!!

Ship Address:

Robert Heckerl
Unit 15549 Box 67
APO AP 96205

(it's a US address for overseas duty personnel)

Thanks for your consideration!

Put me down for Greg M. since he's at the top of the list.

I will order them tonight when I get home from practice.

Krak I do want to say thank you for what you do to help our armed forces and these kids. It takes a special person to do what you do and from what I can tell you do it well. I really enjoy reading your posts and how your team does.

Thanks again.
I've got Zach B. Smile
I sent them directly from baseballexp, used Armed Forces Pacific for State, and my own phone number. If this isn't right, just let me know.

For the record, I bought a couple of pairs of Team Express pants for 2B. We bleached his team pants and the blue piping disappeared! So I bought some new ones. The $16.00 pants were of as good quality as the name brand ones we've bought in the past.

btw, here is the preview I sent out to the HS staff. Thought some of you might be interested!

Dear Fans of Falcon Baseball,

Twenty-four young men tried out for Falcon Baseball and, from that group, we were able to fill a young, but talented, roster.

Perhaps the greatest feature of the 2010 squad will be 'team chemistry'. All players genuinely seem to like one another. This is absolutely critical for not only a successful season, but a trouble-free and enjoyable three months of baseball.

Q: How will this year's team compare to last year's 16-4 squad which blew through the Conference and destroyed two of three Japan District schools at Kanto Plains?

A: We'll be younger for sure, but the talent level is much higher across the board. We didn't have to compromise on skill to fill this year's roster. Everyone can play, 'young and old' alike. As Satchell Paige said, "Age is a question of mind over matter. If you don't mind, it doesn't matter."

Q: What are the teams' strengths and weaknesses this season?

A: As mentioned, team chemistry is phenomenal this year. We've got a roster full of guys who absolutely love the game, are very coachable, and have made baseball their year-round passion.
A great pitching staff has become something of a Falcon tradition and this year is no exception. We have enough pitching to go deep into tournaments.
Our middle infield is probably the best in the Pacific, bar none. Our guys can 'turn two' like magicians, with great glovework and strong arms.
Offensively, we look to be a team that will put the ball in play often, and a couple of guys have serious power potential.

As far as 'weaknesses', I would prefer to use the term 'pre-proficient', because these guys are all solid and, being as coachable as they are, will quickly fill any gaps in skill once we lock down positions. Some questions I do have are, 'Do we have the overall footspeed to really dominate on the basepaths?', 'Will our outfield be rock solid from left to right?', 'Will the infield corners match up with the quality of the middle infield?', and 'Are we at least two deep with catchers who can handle our pitching and throw guys out?' The answers will become clear as we work through the first few weeks of practices. My expectation is that we'll arrive at YES as an answer to all of these questions.

Q: Last year the team traveled to Tokyo and Beijing. Any travel plans this year?

A: Yes. Travel has become a part of our program now, thanks to the tireless fundraising efforts of our team parents. We will be traveling to Okinawa over Spring Break to take on Kubasaki, Kadena, St. Mary's, and ASIJ in the annual Spring Fling. It will be a good test for us. I'm fairly certain we'll have the youngest team there, but hopefully our hard work in preparation will pay off.
Then, in late May, we'll be traveling to the first-ever Far East Baseball Tournament (dates and location still TBA). We're incredibly excited about this opportunity.

Q: Do you feel confident the Falcons will win the conference again this year?

A: I'd certainly like to think so. However, we just never know what new players may have PCS'd into Osan and Daegu who could make them dangerous. It's always interesting to see what each team brings to the table each year.
Krak;

We will have our SSK '16 and under American team will stop over in Seoul, Korea on the 9-10 of August. Can we schedule games on the 10th before we travel to the China tournament.

Our players can carry extra equipment for your team as "exchange" gifts.

Please respond to my e-mail.
We have former professional players as coaches and can provide a clinic.

Good call, MN-Mom.

Hey, Krak.

Do you still have that ChipIn account for the team that was around a year or so ago? I was going to mail a check this morning to the address in an earlier post. Then I got busy at work and otherwise distracted. Actually, I wanted to ask about ChipIn when you were looking for used bats, but I put it off.

At the rate I'm going, the season will be over before I send anything. Roll Eyes

mojo, we've got a skeleton roster of 11 guys!

Tim, our school colors are royal and black, so we try to go with each color sock when they change out -- we'd wear blue for peace and black for war!!

That ChipIn expired long ago. They all have expiration dates on them. I do have a straight-up paypal account at seoulbaseball@yahoo.com, though.

GO ROYALS!! The spirit of George Brett lives in KC (maybe the flesh does, too - where is George these days, anyway?)!
