On field 7, The Royals played the Orioles. The players of the game for the Orioles was Brett "Big Red" Johnson of Plano HS and Reid Scoggins of Warren Travis White HS of Dallas. Royals players of the game were Preston Beck of Bishop Lynch and Chris Asing of Flower Mound HS.

On field 10, The Pirates might of beaten the Marlins. Players of the game were Alex Yarbrough of AHS and Tyler "Top Gun" Mapes of NMHS. For the Marlins, "Mad" Max Muncy was the hitter of the game and Aaron Gilbreath was the pitcher of the game.

On field 8, The Reds played the A's. For the Reds, Jake "The Snake" Johannsen of AHS and newcomer Grayson Porter of Dumas, TX were the players of the game. For the light swingin A's, Sammy "The Jett" Lett and Will "The Thrill" Fletcher of McKinney Boyd HS were the players of the game.

The Metro Scout League passed out 7 Scout Books to the following professional organizations: New York Mets, Toronto Blue Jays, Cincinatti Reds, Washington Nationals, Chicago White Sox, Kansas City Royals and the New York Yankees.

The following 7 colleges were represented: Texas Christian University, Dallas Baptist University, University of Texas - Arlington, Northeastern State (OK), Richland College, The Air Force Academy, and Austin College .

The 14 books handed out today puts the MSL at handing out a total of 87 scout books to Professional Scouts and College Coaches. We have eclipsed our total from last season by 20 coaches/scouts and we still have 1 week to play.

NOTES-
1. In the case of rain, do us a favor and call your MSL coach.

2. If you can NOT be at a game, please call your MSL Coach. Dont call your buddy and have him tell the coach, because its not your buddies responsibility.

3. I DO NOT have the last 4 digits of the following players SS number: Abbott, Boehmer, Dallalio, McMannemin, Smith, Sutton, Twichell, Yarborough, Zmolik.

4. The MSL team for Jupiter has been chosen by scout/coach recommendations. If you still want to go, you may want to contact PG and see if they have any player openings.

5. SCOUT DAY is next Sunday and will start at 130pm at Craig Ranch. This is for position players only. Regular scheduled games will start at 3pm.
