Bridge Year students will study at a New Jersey community college. Considered non-degree students, each is eligible to take a maximum of nine credits in the fall semester, and six in the spring. All New Jersey public institutions are required to accept those credits.

"It's flexibility. There's no harm," said Sen. Paul Sarlo, D-Bergen, who originally crafted the legislation.

That article is a trip down memory lane for me.  The Daily Record was my hometown paper, it's where all my HS baseball clippings are from... I will spare you all the details unless you have a burning desire to know.   County College of Morris is in the town I grew up in and I took 2 summer classes there to make up credits while in college.  They are a very good junior college.  Lastly on bridge year and the baseball player Taylor they referenced.... not sure why he is not playing for CCM vs playing for his high school. They have a very good baseball team, my buddy used to be the assistant coach too.   From the CCM site: The County College of Morris baseball team has a proud history, producing over 50 professional players and 3 trips to the NJCAA World Series.  Morris has produced more MLB players than any other New Jersey junior college.

On my clippings just ask and I will tell you about the Roxbury game where I blew off the reporter afterward so I wouldn't miss the start of the Van Halen concert.
