I'd like to welcome Fox Valley Sports Academy, new sponsor of our Illinois Forum for the month of January.

Fox Valley has a camp starting next weekend that I thought might interest some of our college-bound HS juniors and seniors. You can click the banner above to read details about the camp, including a pretty impressive list of scouts, coaches, and former pro players who will be part of the camp staff.

Welcome!

gotwood, you crack me up!

A couple of other suggestions:

1. Open a thread in the General Items forum and see if the Perfect Game sponsor banner appears at the top of your screen. If it doesn't, then you may have turned off the ability to view some images which are generated by JavaScript. Let me know and I can try to help you with that.

2. If the Perfect Game banner does appear in the General forum, you should be able to see the banner here if you delete your temporary Internet files. To do that, click Tools at the top of your browser window, then click Internet Options. Under the General tab, click the Delete Files... button, then click OK to confirm. When you return to this forum (or click the Refresh button if you kept this one open), hopefully you will be able to see the banner image above.

Good luck!

play baseball, thanks for letting us know, and I hope your son enjoys the camp!

Fox Valley Sports Academy is a fanstasic facility to train at. Some of the Schaumburg Seminoles and Bartlett Hawks teams train there. I think a few of the McHenry teams train there also. They provide some very good hitting clinics and leagues in the winter months. R.C. Licinstein and former major leaguer Dave Campbell are very good pitching coaches at the academy as well.
MnMom:

Just wanted to follow up to the January sponsor--the Fox Valley Sports Academy. I reported that we learned about them from this website, and registered our '07 for their Advanced Camp...

The camp was incredibly well run and extremely professional. There were many collegiate scouts in attendance taking notes, and the FVSA will follow up with a writtten review. My son, who is no stranger to good instruction and coaching, reports that he learned very much in the four weeks of the camp. If they have any other camps or clinic, we would not hesitate to participate. Thanks!
Sulltiger, I think two of the Seminole teams also practice at Play Ball USA as well. That's also a good facility. Play Ball does a very good job on supplying top of the line baseball merchandise. I know our program has ordered many items through their Mizuno company. Bat bags, helmets, spikes, batting gloves, etc. I'm really impressed with the new Field House that Fox Valley has built. Our 14 and 15's practice their twice a week. It's a fantastic facility.
play baseball, eBaseball, and Grandslam1,

Thanks for the follow up and praise for Fox Valley. I was impressed with them in my conversations with Bill Downing, and it's always nice to have a choice of sponsors confirmed by local members who have been using their facility.

Thanks again to Fox Valley Sports Academy for helping to support the High School Baseball Web!

Julie
