Hello i have a son that will be a 10th grader next year and we are planning on moving somewhere on the west coast. can someone please inform me of some good and stong programs ins this area if there are any this information would be very usful THANK YOU

I live in the St.Pete area. There are several good baseball schools that are also great academic schools. One thing you will need to keep in mind if you are considering Pinellas County (includes St.Pete/Clearwater/PalmHarbor areas) Regarding Public schools---we currently have the 'Choice Plan' which allows you to choose any High School in the county. The problem is that everyone does not always get their first choice! There are no districts--meaning it doesn't matter if you live across the street from the school, that will not guaranty you get in. So do your research if Pinellas County is your choice. There is a great baseball program at Seminole High as well as Dunedin. In the private school arena, Clearwater Central Catholic is one of the best. Good Luck!
