When a player can't play games due to a violation of school rules, can the player participate in practices or do have to go practices and not games?

I am sure that would be school by school policy. No real answer for you here. The coach may have a harsher punishment than the school as well. Running poles and such. At least that is how it works in my part of Florida.
Thank you florida fan, Is there anybody else out there with anwsers to apply in Wi? Like WIAA or NHSA?
If I read the rules right the player needs to take a bus to Madison and wash windows and rake the lawn of a pre-determined resident who has no kids at home.

At our place, if you are suspeneded from play by the school (for off field activities)...you run during practice and you sit on the bench in street clothes. If you are suspended from play by the FHSAA...you practice and you sit in the stands in street clothes.
