Tee-ball coach of the year is EXGM/Knight/Ropes. Heard he was forming a TEE ball All-Star Game and World Series so ask him he would give us the best insight.

You forgot one team....the Dallas Tiger Cubs. I hear they are awesome and have one heckuva SS they found in PreK

In game 1 of the Advantage Baseball Conference 6U State Championship, the Dallas Tiger Cubs defeated the Dallas (NY) Spankees 1-0.
Notes from Game 1:
The Spankees roster had 1 kid from DFW, 3 from Oklahoma, 3 flown in from California, and 2 from Puerto Rico. Dallas Knights GM was working the parents, wearing a Frozen Ropes Letter Jacket. SWAC of D-Brat was looking for other teams' rosters and D-Pats Owner/Prez and his posse were being followed by a documentary camera crew. Catcher and KCR were putting MSL flyers on cars in the parking lot while the game was being played.
Game 2 between the D-Brat Ponies and Fort Worth Kittens will be later this week.

I understand the norm, is juice box and goldfish for a win. Tourney championship is a trip to Baskin-Robbins with the coaching staff paying and State Championship is an all expenses paid trip to Chuck E. Cheese.
Oh, I almost forgot......Trophy's for all top 3 teams, we don't want to make lil Johnny feel his team wasn't good enough when they place 2nd or 3rd!

I had a friend that actually had his son playing in the tee ball nationals. He proudly told me his son's team got third in the nation. Later that week I found out there were only 4 teams in the tournament. I have never let him live it dowm.

A joke similar to this gets made every year when the "official rankings" come out. This is the most clever I've seen yet though.
I was wondering, though, when those new bat regulations will make their way down to T-ball. Will it change the game as we know it? How will coaches adapt? Should hitter start using wood?

Big Red, I think the ways the new BBCOR bat could change tee ball are as follows...
1. Put more emphasis on infield defense.
2. Play OF more shallow.
3. Cut legngth of IF grass shorter to allow more balls to get through the IF.
4. Use more 5 IF/2 OF alignments.
5. Switch to wood bats and CORK'EM!!!

Taking my 5 year old Tee Ball team to Frozen Ropes to throw some weighted balls. 872 more days to Kid Pitch gotta get them ready.

Baaaahhahaha you guys should join a comedy tour. Weighted ball training is only for the tough. Most tee ballers cry the first day or two but after we whip 'em into shape they hit kid pitch as the the big arm little men.
