No one can select a bat for another person. A bat is a personal piece of equipment. How a bat feels for one person may not feel right for another person. At best what you will get here is a popularity contest on bats, not what is best for you. Whatever you select make sure it passes the new BBCOR rating effective for 2011.
Thanks, I forgot about that. But I was more tarying to get reviews of the pop, etc. for each of them.
I agree with RJM. Having said that...my son just got the Easton Surge....it's quite the bat !
Since you are in California, you might want to wait until the new BBCOR bats come out, or CIH publishes a list of approved older bats. As RJM pointed out BBCOR is being enforced in CA for the 2011 season. There is no indication that any of the older bats will be approved yet.

My son has used a lot of different high priced bats and actually prefers the less expensive Demarini Vexxum but, this is such a personal choice for the boys, it's almost impossible to say one bat is better than the other.
He also uses a Baum "wood composite" bat and its proven to have plenty of pop and after two years has been indestructible.

Well it's just I have the SV12 and my friend has the DeMarini, and it sounds like there is tons of pop in that, and my little brother has the surge but it is a senior league and other than that, I haven't really heard of anybody that I know that has used one.
