well i would throw a few times a week at least, with some long toss, and some bullpen work like once a week, just do like 30-40 pitches i would say, just to keep in shape. i like to do what i call a spot drill before each bullpen and each start i make, it helps accuracy. stand about 45 feet away from a catcher and have him give a target, and u go thru full mechanics and stretch, and just throw about 65% fastball speed at the target, u dont aim, u just play catch, i found this program helpful, i walked 6 batters in 33 ip this season, im a finess pitcher with great location and accuracy, so if ud like try it. and if u want my workout let me know, liftin is very important, specially as a pitcher keeping ur legs strong, back, and abs, so let me know if u want it ill give u it
and for those who i sent my workout to, i forgot the most important thing! Crunches and situps, and oblique work, make sure you do everything that u can, talk to people that know what they are talkin about to show u more drills than what i can explain. get your upper lower abs and obliques strong because they play a big roll. crunches, situps, then do leg ins and crunches at the same time if u know what i mean, they play a big roll in baseball if u dont know that already so remember that!
