Hear this all the time, and just trying to figure out what the coach Really wants the kid to do. Guess he means don't swing down or chop at ball, but hope it's not confusing kids to try and keep shoulders level while swinging. Do they mean to keep ball on plane as long as possible to send it out in more of line drive? Also, what about "hands to ball"? Personally, it they are seeing mething mechanically wrong I say call time and give advice in private, then give a more general comment if you must like "you got this" or something not a buzz word.

Softball has gone rotational. It made sense before. It makes even more sense since the rubber was moved back three feet.
