You can get the idea from that data--all Division I baseball teams are Divsion I --it is not like football

There may not be a list that says: Small D1, Mid D1, Major D1, but the different distinctions do exist. Wofford College for example, a small school that participates in D1 athletics, is considered a small D1. Of course, it's easy to pick out the major D1. Most all SEC schools, ACC schools, Big East schools, etc.

Big West; PAC 10; Big 12; SEC; and, ACC are the premier D1 baseball conferences.

Distinction is usually the quality/velocity of the pitchers when you get to the 4th or 5th arm.

top 100 teams high D1, 101-199 mid D1, and below 200 lower D1.
