Do bats really go "dead" in any significant way after alot of use? My son has a z-core that he really likes but has had for a few years. No cracks or fatigue is present. The bat still sounds good on contact, but has it lost a significant amount of "pop"?

Supposively Louisville has a new bat coming out called the EXO? or something like that, probably pretty good since louisville is a reliable company. Good luck.

In college my son would go through 3-4 bats per season and this is using wood in practice.

PS: Let me add that by using wood during practice the players will subconsciously turn an aluminum bat to “trademark up” hitting the ball in one area creating a premature flat spot on the aluminum bat.

Instead of starting a new topic i thought i'd post here... I recently found a dent in my Red regular Flex Stealth. I was actually somewhat excited because I havent enjoyed the bat in the past year.
