Two hitters on 1st pitch and one hitter swings at 2nd pitch....3 outs.

"one of the quickest 9th innings in history"..."about 40 seconds"... Cubs broadcaster.

What am I missing?

Whatever happened to taking a pitch in a one run ball game?

Seemed like they wanted the game to be over with rather than win. It's ok to be aggressive but not stupid in pitch selection. Kinda disappointed in our Cubbies today..

Once again Ramirez has a hitters count in the 8th and he pops it up trying to hit the ball out of the park . He needs to start thinking base hit and not home run .
