My son 2015 RHP was informed today by his HS coach that 4 schools had recently called about him. 2 of the school have asked him to tell my son to get in touch with them, 2 have asked the coach to keep them informed of when he will pitch. I know all 4 have seen my son at various tournaments over the summer, but besides camp invites he hasn't received any specific emails from these schools. What does this mean? Does this show a certain level of interest, or do they make calls to a massive amount of kids schools? He will contact the schools that asked to be contacted when he gets the info from his coach tomorrow, but what are these conversations usually about? I also told him to ask when these schools called, and if in the future schools contact him and ask to be contacted by my son, to please let him know immediately. Thanks for your help.
