Well, a full season of ball is over...

Not really sure what pitchers do in the off season so perhaps we can get some posts about what pitchers will be doing in the short and long term this off season...

Mine flew from Florida to Nashville today so he could get back to Bowling Green Kentucky to get his car and things. He is staying in a motel this evening and driving to Atlanta in the morning. He'll spend the evening tomorrow night at one of his teammate's home who is from Atlanta. From Atlanta, he'll drive back to Port Charlotte Florida for a month of instructional league ball. For whatever reason, he was denied that opportunity last year so he/we are pleased the opportunity is there this year...

After instructional league play, he is headed to Cartegena, Columbia for 3 months of winter league ball. Hoping this helps his career and we are thrilled he will be making a living for much of this year and into next playing baseball...

After winter ball ends in January, he'll probably head back to Myrtle Beach for a few months before heading back to Port Charlotte for spring training in 2011....

"Make it stop, please!" Ha ha ha. Hey we know that. Its a lot more fun when you have a whole group of guys to pull for and get excited about. I have never met your son but I did get to see him play in college. And I have followed him through your posts over the years. Now I simply follow him and pull for him. I hope one day I get the chance to shake his hand and get to see him play again.

hey cd, i guess you won't see tyler for a little longer, tell him "great season" from all of us parents on the web.mitch is on his way back to big"D" via new orleans with bballmom's son kinda relaxing and savoring the time off.he says he plans to find a job when he gets home and do some catching instructing wherever he can.if memory serves, this will be the longest time spent at home in the last 5 years. we're throwing a taco party when he gets here!going to the store now. safe travels to all. Cool
