This year we had a lot of players that graduated or didn't come back out in high school. I was a sophomore and in my opinion the first or close second in the class of 08. I played fall legion and got pitching lessons over the winter to prepare to play varsity. Also I was one of two or three kids that went to the coach's fall workouts. Then when the season came around there were no real try-outs. We had three practices and then they picked the team. I was on JV, but three other sophs were on varsity. I thought if I did good on JV and kids struggled on varsity I would move. I did pretty well on JV and the varsity got mercy-ruled almost every game. Then near the end of the season two other sophs got called up. So I asked the coach why he wasn't bringing me up and he said it was a position thing(I play almost every position). Then I asked if I could come up to pitch a game because the pitchers had struggled all year. He said not this year because he already had 5 good pitchers and they needed me on JV. My dad then talked to him later and he didn't get anywhere with him either. So the season went by and I never played varsity. Then this summer I haven't been getting PT on legion and the assistant varsity coach is the legion coach. What should I do? I know I am as good as the kids ahead of me. It's just the coaches don't see it. Please help me out.
