Baseball stats are all relative to the level of competition you play against. I have seen guys hit over .400 in HS and then get to a small division 3 college and struggle to hit above .200. What size HS do you play at?

And stats will also vary depending upon your position. A great defensive catcher, SS or CF, may not need tremendous offensive stats to get solid recruiting offers because they offer some other special skill that is desired by the coach.

But I would guess, everyone on the rosters of Big East schools were at minimum All-Conference HS players if not All-State. These honors are typicaly a reflection of your stats.
