My son has some early interest from D-1, but haven't heard anything lately. He is busy playing football right now. Just wants to play somewhere at and study engineering. Any suggestions about finding the right school? Thanks.
US News & World Report’s has a good book on colleges that will give you list of schools by almost any criteria you might want to look at. We picked up a copy at Borders Books however you can also find it online.
Speed, Also, be sure that you read the posts that have to do with engineering majors. Engineering is a very difficult major to do while playing college ball. It can be done, but it is hard. My son always wanted to play college ball. However, he had to make a decision between engineering and ball and engineering won out. The time required for labs and studying just didn't leave room for the number of hours required for ball. Best of luck to your son!
There are some excellent D2 and D3 schools where you can study engineering and play baseball. The baseball program in these schools does (usually - every school is different) take a backseat to the academics. Not sure what schools are available in your beautiful part of the country.
