I am not really understanding why you deleted your previous posts.
The thread should remain intact so that others can read and learn.
TPM,
Although I agree with you that there is "future value" in leaving the thread intact, I also understand College BB Fan's position.
There comes a point when things get SO BAD, that it becomes counter-productive to continue with a negative mindset. At that point, it really is best just to "put it behind you and move on." I understand that may be a foreign concept to you, but for many of us it is simply reality.
COLLEGE BB FAN,
Good luck to both you and your son. Time and other positive experiences will heal the wound. There will probably always be a "scar", but there will come a time when it won't hurt to touch it, and then the scar will become a trophy of perseverence!

Thanks to everyone, we took a leap on faith alone and luckily it all seems to be working out. Heard back from 4 schools, 3 are very interested and we have 3 visits lined up next week already. And have a couple of schools waiting to see him in a showcase first weekend in June (if he doesn't commit by then).
It was fullfilling to know that we are not alone and many people PM'd us and said it helped them just to read about our delimma and gave them faith and hope. It was nice to know, even though we were going through "he double hockey sticks", sharing our pain helped others deal with theirs.
The disapointment is still there, but we are moving forward, and with God's help, we may come out of it alright.
Thanks HSBASEBALLWEB!

PGSTAFF...you have a PM
College BB Fan, it's great to hear the positive report. Glad to hear that things are coming together. Please keep us updated!
I always beleive that some things happen to us for a reason.
There is a reason why your son's first experience didn't work out. You most likely will discover that down the road.
Best of luck.
