If you could list the website and the states covered that would be great! I'm interested in seeing how various states are covered.

Baseball America, subscription required. Seems to be best. Maxpreps, Espn?
I don't know if MaxPreps ranks players. I do know if they do, too many high schools don't participate to make the information valid.
I wasn't sure on either Maxprep or ESPN. If they do, I'd think it too small a sampling.
Subscribed to BA for many years & know they have writers/reps with connections across the US, Puerto Rico & beyond, from HS thru Pros...Mayo covers the draft every year.
Its my impression that the MaxPreps rankings (they at least used to post a top-150 list or something like that)...I think their rankings reflect game performance a bit more than projection. I don't think they really scout players per se.
So I agree with RJM's post above.
Max Prep rankings are incomplete and they are not based on any
game observations

I mostly agree. But I do think they reflect somewhat the stats entered by some coaches.
The MaxPreps guy that covers our area seemed to have made friends with some of the better HS coaches and a few scouts in our area. As a result, area players were more often than other areas in those listings. I would see him at games...and I know he talked to scouts in the stands and coaches after games. I assume that somehow helped players get ranked.
But I guess I don't know for sure.
Are there any other websites? Like TopTennBaseball would be another one.
I'm aware of some in the Northwest:
Baseball Northwest (Washington, Oregon, Idaho/Montana/Wyoming/South Dakota):
http://www.baseballnorthwest.com/players/top
MountainWest Baseball -Idaho (Southern Idaho):
http://www.mbaidaho.com/?start=4
MountainWest Baseball Academy (Utah):

I believe Michigan Baseball Prospects also ranks Michigan players, And (as you said) Prep Baseball Report seems to cover (subscription required) Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Missouri, Ohio, Pennsylvannia, West Virginia, and Wisconsin. I'm sure there are other organizations doing this by state or region. I'd love to hear more others, particularly if they are ranking NW players....
scoutingbaseball.com has some info.
