I think the Mets will go 161-1
I also think they will beat the Cardinals so badly this year - it will force Cardinals management to sell the franchise.

I am hopeful, more hopeful than in a while, that the Reds can turn the corner and contend for the playoffs.
Nationals w/ the opening of their new stadium....let's hope it all has a positive impact and they have a break out year !

I will always be a Red Sox fan but I have a new team to root for when they are not playing the BoSox's. The Texas Rangers now have former Athens Drive HS star Josh Hamilton and one of my former players has a chance to make the big league roster this year , Matt Harrison LHP.

It is going to be a long sad year for major league baseball in Northern California...
I always love my Cardinals....but I have the definite feeling their best hope for this season would be to hold ST in Lourdes.... 
The Tampa RAYS, formerly the Devil rays, have a few more pitchers this year in addition to all the young talent from last season. They won't be in the World Series, but they should be exciting to watch.
The Phillies if healthy have a great shot at winning 90 plus games. And early pick for MVP Chase Utley.

I said we weren't looking for a Series run, but to be exciting and relatively competitive would also be a first. We truly have a wonderful March down here in the Sunshine State with Spring Training, but have to search for some bright spots when the season starts! GO RAYS!!

Astros have made whole-sale changes...not sure it's going to work in the short or the long-term. At least they should score runs...but the Matsui signing is abysmal. I will predict 83 wins and well out of the running.

Our family too. My husband went to a prayer breakfast and JH was the guest speaker. He was impressed - thought JH very well spoken, inspirational, and very honest. Would like to see him play a strong and healthy season.

I am with you Puma. Spring Training, we don't have to travel far or pay ML prices to see baseball. Then all season there is minor league ball and if you want, there's ML ball.
Our Florida teams may not be the best (to say the least) but we have the greatest weather :cool to enjoy while he gets the cold and maybe snow!!!
