PLP556,
Your an 07' so it's now crunch time for getting your name on the map. I would look to begin immediately (DEC). However, keep in mind the one fact everyone here agrees on. Make sure your in shape to play. That's a tough thing at this time being your from NY. You woul;d have to be throwing and swinging on a regualr basis, otherwise look for something later in the year. Most likely after the HS season.
I have a hitting clinic every Sunday with the varsity team where we face live pitching from older guys (25-35) and they are top notch guys. It lasts 1 1/2 hours so i definitly get enough swings in. And i should be getting in a pitching clinic every tuesday (pitchings my 2nd position but it keeps my arm healthy, 1st being Outfield).

How woul i go about getting an invitation to one of these?

Thanks alot in advance

Thanks for the link

Sorry for all the questions but im new at this so heres some more:

1. Is it necessary to travel all the way to CA and FL to play or will there be some anywhere around me?

2. Do you all think that it would really benefit me if i do this? Im not looking to attend a major Baseball school. Im just looking to play at a nice D-1 school in NYS.
