Interesting article. Lesson learned...if you are on top of the MLB pitching world never cut your hair.
Thanks for posting it on hsbaseballweb. Read this yesterday. It made me wonder how he could just fall out of sight. In today's world of social media you would think there would some tidbits pop up. Nothing!
I was at AT&T last week when the Giants brought Vogey to retire. I hope they do the same for Timmy! #forevergiant

Agree.
Supercuts.......?
Not sure author looked that hard. He's (or was this summer) working out at Driveline, presumably with an eye to another comeback at some point.

and looks like he ordered a custom glove recently
He was the poster child for momentum pitching. With his downfall the movement ended before it had a chance to take off. He never had an arm/elbow problem. It was the hips, a predisposed condition that was accelerated due to his long stride. He might be able to find another way to get his velocity back.

Must have confused him with Trevor Bauer. Or maybe Mike Clevinger.

Well, well well...
Seems like kyle has lost control over his facility.
I think he should give up starting and try to get a job as a reliever. If he can get back up to like 94 for an inning and drop a couple sliders in the dirt he might still get some outs.
Pathetic attempt at denial & fake news...Mueller, Mueller?
Maybe kyle becomes the POTUS one day. He is evil but a smart guy who makes rational decisions
Well now, if he can't pitch the chicks will dig it...
How can you not root for his comeback?
Appears he has a guaranteed offer.
It's the A's.

" But there’s reason to believe he might be a different guy after spending time at Driveline Mechanics, a training facility that’s tangibly aided numerous pitchers who have trained there before."
Well they got one half the name right Kyle. :0
That piece is just a writer opining he'd like to see the A's sign him.
Yesterday I saw a couple of tweets saying that the Padres were the team that had made an offer. Makes sense.
ooops....
Actually either team would be a good fit. I am not sure he will have the ability to start, but he seems to me like a potential long reliever. I am sure Kyle has better insight then anyone here.
Thanks for the correction.
Sounds like it is only a matter of time until he signs:

A link in the article said fastball was 90-93 in the workout. Obviously great for baseball if he could pull it off.
Apparently it's a done deal. Rangers. And the closer role is wide open!
Good luck, Timmy!

Closer role is only important if you have a lead to protect. With current Ranger roster that is not gonna be often enough to matter, I'm afraid. Jon Daniels has done nothing over the off-season to improve the Rangers and this is strictly a PR move to pacify season tickets holders by signing a big name. Pretty easy to see thru this one, IMO. Nothing against Timmy. I love him.
Good luck, Timmy!
Love how the media focuses on the results (double, walk, wild pitch and 2 K's). I'm gonna guess that those are not the details the Rangers are interested in. Players start rehab stints at AA and get rocked all the time worse than this and it's not a factor at all. Anybody know how his velo was holding up?
