Can a player be contacted by other college coaches other than Juco while in season and on scholarship?

Niner's parents - Yes they can. My son who attended a JUCO right after HS had I believe three schools that had previously recruited him, contact him that fall. I contacted a poster who use to coach at a JUCO who told me that was very rare. They usually contact the JUCO coach and I believe that's the expectation.
My son decided that following spring that he was wanting to leave the JUCO. The programs that are better programs in my opinion wanted to make sure that his JUCO coach knew his desire when they talked to him (almost all). As I look back, I think that is the appropriate way to do things and I lost a little bit of respect for the guys that called him on their own.... especially if a kid is a qualifier and could leave JUCO before their two years. It's a little wrong I think.
