I'd have to say that the teams in the Florida State Connie Mack Traveling League would be the top travel teams in Florida. Those teams play great schedules day-in and day-out.

Connie Mack Travle League
Central Florida Renegades
Coral Springs Pokers
Florida Bombers
Jacksonville Warriors
Orlando Scorpions

There are still a few teams not yet committed.

The Florida Bombers are easily the best team in this league. They are the only team that does not charge a fee, so they get the pick of the litter.

The rest of the teams are all fairly even with the edge probably going to the Pokers and Renegeades just because of thier longitude at this level. But every game in this league is a battle - which makes the players better and allows the scouts to see more talent - therefore a win-win situation.

I really don't know much about Powerhouse baseball other than they are involeved with Rich Hoffman in some form.

The Miami X-Team is an outstanding group of coaches and players. They are the one team not in Connie Mack that I wish were in the league. They are a class organization that has outstanding players like David Adams and David Dinatalle on their squad.

Playing on a good travel team gets you ready for the next level. Here are a few examples of some Central Florida Freshman who are making and impact early in their college careers, mainly because of the quality of play in the Connie Mack Travel League. This is just a short list of kids I follow closely (played with my son) and it's only the first week so, if anyone wants to add to the list please do. It's fun to follow the progress of kids living their dreams.

P Brandon Webb - Closer for Saint Leo

C Austin Hubbard - Did a great job behind the dish in Sait Leo's 1st two games.

OF Mike Lawro - Starter for FCCJ

3B, P Jordan Williams - Starting 3B and Pitcher for FCCJ

P Mario Lombardo – Made a quality relief appearance in 1st game for Rollins

OF Brian LeClerc - Possible starter for Florida in 1st game

OF Justin Justice – Starter for LSCC
