Lake Highlands grill smells really good, especially since it is next to the opposing teams' dugout.

My mom used to make the BEST sweet tea in the world at the original McKinney High School concession stand. They even rolled out some red beans and cornbread too. SON!!

Marcus has a pretty good set-up. Very nice people as well. Sure will miss O-B-N and her hospitality.

The BEST I've ever seen was at West Ouachita High School near Monroe, Louisiana. Outstanding food...
BBQ and one night they even fried up some catfish and hush-puppies! As grandpaw on Hee-Haw used to say YUM-YUM!!!!!

It's just hitting me that it's about 2/1 and my cirballium rythym is telling me it's time to play, but with the new Yankee delay rule in place for college and ST still more than a month away, too, all of the normal activity ain't happening at my house.

Would one of ya'll please call me when the wurst and beef hit's the grill?

I thought I'd be allright, but I'm not.

Will there be counselor's available?

I sold my three burner heater and passed my dawg stadium seats on to my younger brother-in-law.

Did the ***** momma's son at Nawth graduate?

Sandy, use your imagination, I'm not gonna spell it out for you, but it start's with an h and ends in y.

I'd probably be willing to sit by her for at least an inning or two right now.

And, I think I'll even miss MMWS blocking the plate, I mean, calling the game.

Have any of you ever noticed that the baseball field is ALWAY's the longest walk from the parking lot? In other words, the parking lot is on one side of the school and the baseball field on the other.

That the AD is always a football coach, or a former football coach, or that his son plays football, or will play football?

That it took a year for Nawth to get a press box and another two to get it mounted ALL the way to to the top of those stands.

That the school at Nawth was built first and THEN they figured out that they needed athletic fields.

That the baseball field at Boyd was built first and THEN they decided to put a school near it?

That it took more than thirty years for the MISD ahtletic directors to figure out that the parking lot just WEST of the now beloved AL Alford Field and home of MMWS could be paved for addtional football parking?

I've been holding some things in for seven years now, (actually about 25), so now that the boys playing time won't be impacted, I may let loose.
