Thanks for the update. Good job Weaver #6 today. I am certain that you had an impact. I was always impressed with your brother and now equally impressed with you. It is clearly a family tradition. Tell your big brother to find me when they play U of C in Wheaton. I have not had that pleasure to date. Tried to find and talk to him and speak with him last year at Chicago. Good luck in regards to the rest of the season. Be sure to post the results and details of the game on the score forum. Weavers are the best!!!

Looks like Dain Hall went into a slump a couple of days ago. He went 1 for 4 with another Home Run.
His Batting Avg dipped from .944 to .818.

34/33...Dain does look like he is having fun. Playing well on the defensive side too.
It looks like he is feeling no pressure and just going out there and doing it. I think it helps to have the recruiting process behind him.....it can set you free!

Thanks for the kind words. I will most definately let my brother know to look for you. I don't know if you had heard or not, but on their spring break trip he was injured and is now most likely redshirting for the rest of the year.

Kyle Ayers of Oswego had 15k's 9 innings pitched o BB's and a 1 hitter vs Plainfied North on tuesday. The game went to 10 innings and Oswego won it in the 10th. Ayers is 0-1 on the year but his numbers are impressive. 17 2/3 IP,1BB,32K's,3 ER,1.19 ERA. Oh and in those 9 innings pitched he only had 95 pitches.
though hinsdale central started off slow the Devil's pitching staff has fired up! Check out this artical on Ourada and Cook!

Jake Odorizzi from Highland. He should be a PBR top 10 guy by the end of the year. Just ask CoachB25. Ben Thoma from Columbia has 7 HR's in 11 games and lost another one to rain.

Odorizzi can flat out play. Pitch and hit he did both today. He hit a curve ball today about 400 feet.
Thoma has also hit a bomb off us this year. He started off the year hot. Time will tell what the time off the field will do to his hitting.
Update on Jake Odorizzi from Highland. hitting .593 (16-27) with 6 hr's, 5 doubles, 14 rbi's, 5 runs scored, and 9 stolen bases. Not to mention he is 5-0 with a .95 era. Fastball up around 92-93. Forget I said top ten. Top 3 easy.
In the vernacular of today, “Jake has game.” Yes, he should be rated very high.

I don't know how they missed a run. I got it from the paper. Jake doesnt play for us this year , maybe next summer if he isnt playing for money.
SIBullets, a certain young man that played for you last summer, and plays for me, had a nice game yesterday with a huge bomb. One of his teammates is also having a tremendous year. I'll leave their names out of it since we seem to come under fire for not playing anyone and so, our stats are skewed.

chris savas sophmore for willowbrook hits 4th homerun of the season yesterday against york
ian krol from nequa valley. so him pitch a gem today against st. charles north. well pitched game and great defense.

I was at this game also. My daughter was practicing with her travel softball team across the street so I wandered over to catch some of the game. What a treat I stumbled onto. I felt privileged to catch the last few innings of this gem of a high school game. It doesn't get too much more exciting...well maybe that 11 inning LT vs. OPRF game was exciting too.
I was out on the the fence down the third baseline and saw that great throw from right field to the plate that resulted in the NV player being tagged out near the plate. Quite a collision at the plate. There was grousing from the St. Charles bleachers that the NV player should have slid at home. How'd you see it?
And the St Charles North pitcher covered first base expertly on that play when his first baseman bobbled the ball. Huge out in a tight contest. The Detroit Tigers pitching staff from last year's World Series should have been watching and learning.
Great game...good one to win...tough one to lose.

I was very impressed with Chris when we played Willowbrook. He has such power and has very good pitch selection. I wouldn't be surprised to see him go to a very good school when he graduates.
