Green did not pitch on Friday against Irving. He has been on a Tuesday rotation since district began.

I stand corrected, I assumed without doing any research that Green pitched Friday against Irving. A bunch of my son's summer teammates play at SGP and I keep in touch with a few of the dads still so I follow SGP baseball plus I am a former alumnus.

Should be an even better game, if we were not playing I would have to attend.

I wasn't at the game but your expectation of a good game and pitcher's duel was correct. SGP beat Coppell 2-0. SGP scored 2 runs in the bottom of the sixth.

Keller beat Haltom 9-5

WP Stafford

Lewisville beat Plano West 6-4

WP Russo, another HR for Russo also.

Also heard that Colleville lost to Grapevine and Denton Ryan lost to Fossil Ridge.

5-5A just got very interesting.

East lost to Allen 5-4 that all but eliminates them from playoff contention unless they can pull some wins together and hope certain teams lose. But, it was a tough night for East overall.

Made it an exciting 7th though, eh APF? - scoring 4 and having the tying run on 2nd. Still not enough offense for East tonight -- 4 hits. The defense wasn't terrible, but again there were too many little misplays (not necessarily recorded as E's in the book) that led to runs. In close games, especially when the bats aren't going good, it puts too much pressure on the pitchers.

I have to say, the Allen pitching staff is impressive, even without Tolley. They threw their #3 or #4 tonight until Bingham came in to close. The starter did a great job for 6i -- hats off to Dougherty. Bombs by Schuehler and Gambill too. I'm not sure Allen has enough offense to make a deep run in the playoffs, but they just might have enough pitching to win 8-5A and make a splash on the way to Austin. Pardon the misspelled names Eagle fans.

TIme to sweep the 2nd half, Panthers.

I left in 6th didn't see the 7th sorry PD I guess I should have stayed and watched the rest of the game. I got called after the game was over to find out what the score was I bummed but excited they made a run the last inning. Your rite PD it is time for them to make a run and sweep the rest of the district games it would be nice for them to do it.

Way to go APF, I knew you had it in you. I guess you started a class in how to capitalize and put periods. Still need to work on the commas though. Overall..........B+.........Niiiiiiiice!
