lol, 31 people on the board?
I wonder what these goofy parents will think of themselves when they look back on this thing, twenty years from now.

It can be any youth sports organization with a board. LL just happens to be the biggest organization with the most exposure. Often these board members are community based lifers. They can be as bad as the members of a home owners association board.quote:the Little League(tm) bunch never fails to amuse me
I don't want to get into bashing LL because any organization can be messed up...Most of these folks who run these organizations are well intentioned and want to help their community.
But, we had a player rep of our local LL who would come to the games drunk and start squabbles with coaches and parents. The Board refused to take action and he continued his behavior for several years...He decided not to be involved in the organization any longer, but that was his decision not the boards...

Sounds like a "de facto" reserve clause is alive and well in Boston...
Where is Curt Flood when he is needed? LOL.
Funny how parents always screw up up kid's games when they try to make things "better".
