Ok..for all you oldies out there who know their sports movies....

Who said this? Name either the actor/actress, or their name in the movie, and the movie name.

Relax, all right? Don't try to strike everybody out. Strikeouts are boring! Besides that, they're fascist. Throw some ground balls - it's more democratic.

No cheating! Don't copy/paste it into google! Try picking your brain on this one to answer it.

True story,
Last year while on JV my Soph son is going through major batting slump. Coach tells him he's lucky he can field and pitch because he wouldn't be playing.

Assistant coach tells my son to go get some baseball book and to rent Bull Durham. We get it that night Friday night. I had forgotten the first scene in the locker room, to say the least my wife hit the fast forward really quick on the DVD. (lol)

Next day before the game the assistant coach comes up to me and is apologizing up one side and down the other. Seems he remembered the first scene and some of the colorful language after he told my son to go rent it.

Every time I see him I ask if he's still recommending Bull Durham to 15 year olds.

Great movie!!
One of the best speeches ever...

"Well, I believe in the soul... the ****...the ****... the small of a woman's back... the hangin' curveball... high fiber... good scotch... that the novels of Susan Sontag are self-indulgent overrated ****... I believe Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone. I believe there ought to be a Constitutional amendment outlawing Astroturf and the designated hitter. I believe in the sweet spot, soft core pornography, opening your presents Christmas morning rather than Christmas Eve, and I believe in long, slow, deep, soft, wet kisses that last three days. Goodnight."
