You have to be kidding yourself if they were 3-7 for there last 10 games and got mercy ruled 3 of the 10 games and 2 of the wins were over teams that didn't make the playoffs either. Hate to see what kind of roll they would have got on. From what I saw they didn't have near enough pitching, definately didn't show up with the same intensity for each game. And coaching sure seems to be the root of the problem if you ask me. If the coach can't motivate the players with the talent they had and put up more than 6 wins in 19 games that's a large portion of it.
Anyone know final seeds yet? No post from NHIAA yet? Does Salem's tie vs Sanford, ME count?

NHSBCA was scheduled to meet yesterday for All-State selections. That should be leaking out soon. Looking forward to that release and the always fun discussion of the "All-Snubbed" Team.

Playoffs will be exciting as usual.

I thought BG would make the playoffs and maybe top 8 seed. Sorry they didn't.

Looks like West is on the road to improvement. Do they stay in Class L next year or move down a notch like football?

I would love to see a North-Goffstown rematch-final at Fisher Cat Stadium. Best 2 teams, but the other 14 will make some noise.

Get those brackets ready! What are the "Upset Specials"?
The All-Snubbed is great when done right. It gives some players additional exposure and plaudits. Obviously, the kids that make it are deserving because a # of voters saw something special. The voters just don't see everything....and neither did we.

Central has a shot but I wouldn't predict it either. I think there are only 2 teams that can beat North. And they are Goffstown and Nashua North (yes, themselves)......or, well....maybe add in a Poore led Salem in the 3rd round. Need to see the seedings 1st.
funny cause from what i heard BG played near perfect baseball against North and played just as well for every game except for the usual one inning of defensive lapses

And a coach shouldn't have to motivate the players he just has to manage the game and if the game gets out of control put the kids in their place

But coaching is an issue when the team does the same drills in practice and which doesn't make the kids better, which is what i have heard BG has been doing
I will admit I picked back in the preseason for BG to finish in the top 7, I was way off and will take any comments knocking my pick, but if you look at the reason I picked them I still stand by the selection. They had a good crop of seniors this year and I want to wish them all the best going forward, many are former Showcase players or kids I have had the pleasure of working with in one capacity or another over the past 5 or 6 years. Best of luck boys.
