It is the workout program. I know it's not your fault. You did what you were told and prob. worked very hard.

But the exercises your team did will do very little for increasing baseball performance and most likely will decrease performance. Too many machines and not enough ground-based movements.

What was your set, rep and tempo range?
There is no placed for training to failure and forced negatives in weight training for baseball. Both of these methods can lead to injury due to undue stressed placed upon joints and posture breakdown.

In addition, as you are noticing, these methods also lead to a decrease in performance.

I know you are ain a tough spot because you only did what you were told. Unfortunately, you were taught incorrect and potentially dangerous methods.

I would suggest switching over to safer and more productive workouts.
I use my Fastball 90% of the time and my curveball only comes in in certain situations where the batter needs to see a other pitch to throw him off all my life ive been use to jus blowing my fastball by everyone and this high school year i cant mainly because im not throwing it as hard as i once was and I dont know why!!!!! so frustrating im still strikeing kids out but colleges arent going to want a 80mph top LHP they want a 88-90 LHP
