CADad i'm not saying that it is unusual for a college to ask for a seniors schedule, the point im trying to make is that if this college coach has told you personally he wants to see him on HIS college mound, why would his hs coach not play him as much as he use to.Like i said you would think that his hs coach would put him on the mound more
TRhit,

Maybe you are soooooooooo wrong. I agree kids should stand on their own two feet, what I am saying is that there is a difference in a kid that is 15 and one that is 17,18,-23. At fifteen years old most kids aren't mature enough to handle all life situations presented to them without some assistance. All I said was that I don't see the problem in a parent asking a simple question if done the right way. I don't mean the parent should get up in the coaches business about everything that goes on...I don't think it is wrong to ask why the coach would move the kid up and then not play him. That is my opinion, and so I don't think I can be wrong like you so bluntly stated. You aren't the know everything guru.

first of all I never ever termed myself a "guru"---you did---

secondly let me ask you this--when does a kid learn to stand on his own if not at 15 for starters--you going to wait until the kid is 25?

icare

as for you and your thinking learn to read, please !!!!--I never said what you said was BS---all is said is if the kid is not producing why should the coach pitch him?

You know I was wondering... could I have your phone number so I can criticize your every move?

If not, then why don't the coaches deserve the same treatment?
