Many times my relatives and even myself ask why I do what I do with the team program we run---this weekend I found why I do it--my stepson and I, he is one of my two lead coaches, went to a Division II game in the area---one team had three of our players as did the other---not only were the players there but so were the parents---it was like a family reunion--lots of hugs and kisses--- great fun and made me truly realize why I do it---great relationships and if our program had just an iota of assistance in getting the kids where they are that is even better.

Hopefully we have touched each other for life---I know the kids have touched me

TR - Always love hearing how baseball has touched the lives of the "other side". I know my son has been blessed with some wonderful men in his life through baseball that have become family friends and cherished by us all. It's awesome hearing that coaches feel like they're getting something back sometimes. Thanks to all the guys/gals out there that touch our boys in such positive ways.
