We had a player on our team a few years back who was our #3 catcher, back up outfielder and did anything we needed---not a great talent but a heck of a worker and team player

Tonight at 9:30 PM he and his team mates are in the final elimination game of the New England NCAA Regionals---win tonight and they play Eastern CT State tomorrow for the right to go to the Division III World Series

The young man is BUCK MERRILL and he plays for Keene State--he is their DH and also a TEAM CAPTAIN

Yes folks it can happen for a player who works his butt off even if not a stud player---role players can be successful

Way to go BUCK!!! Good luck tonight
