Quick story. My son followed the recruiting timeline on this website. He wrote coaches where he was interested in going to school with summer schedules, updating those schedules, letting them know where his team could be seen.

He went on a visit to a school that actually won the D2 national championship this year and the coach had all of his correspondence in order of receipt, in a file on his desk, when my son sat down.
