We're skipping a showcase in the southeast. It's not just the cost of gas, but the availability. Our team is carpooling more for regional play. It's the ride home I dread - all those sweaty teen boys in my car!!! I guess we'll ride with the windows open "in the name of saving energy"...

We start our fall season on Saturday and it will run through the end of October.

Carpooling will be a topic this afternoon at practice for sure.

After having traveled up and down the east coast all spring and summer, Our fall ball is being played all at one facility. (3 miles from my home) This was my idea even before the sharp rise in gas prices. I was just soo tired of driving.(Not to mention my truck only gets 14 MPG)
