I can't speak for Williams, but Johns Hopkins is a superior academic school and a national power at the Division III level. Only downside is that therethere are over 40 players on the team, many of whom never play varsity. They run a JV program, but it is highly competetive in terms of seeing the field.
Williams is a very small liberal arts college that is typically ranked in the top 5 of such schools annually, along with the likes of Amherst, Pomona, Swarthmore. It is in a very isolated rural location. Very good baseball program, very tough school to get into. Considered by many to be a "jock" school.
Hopkins is a medium sized university, also top flight academically and tough to get into. Located in an urban setting. As noted above large baseball program w/ a JV component (often seen as a school that 'over recruits'). Excellent program though, could probably compete as a D-1. Also sort of a jock school, mostly known for lacrosse.
