scentpa, before you send money, check and make sure that the school's recruiting coordinator and head coach will be in attendance the entire time. You want to make sure the decision-makers are there to see your son.

Junior year is an excellent time to attend these types of winter camps, as coaches who are interested can follow your son this coming summer. If your son is a senior, you may not get as much bang for your buck unless he is a pitcher, since many programs are still looking for extra arms in the spring.
Another good rule to follow is , will coaches from schools you are interested in attending be at these camps . My son attended camps and or showcases where the assistant head coach was in attendance , head coaches rarely go unless it is their camp , and now has a full ride to a D1 college he wanted to attend since he was 11 . So good luck to you and your son and spend your money wisely .
