I am wondering if somebody could advise us on the wisdom of attending camps before our son is 100%.  Almost all coach communication stopped after our son's injury.  It seems like it may help for coaches to see that our son is recovering.  He is working on throwing from a chair, so his arm will be in good shape and will be batting (and walking) by the time Winter camps begin.  He just will not be ready to run yet. While we would prefer to wait until he is 100% that will not happen until Spring and this is very late for a senior to be looking for a place to play and the coaches are focused on their teams by then.

"Grey Shirting" is basically taking less than 12 units and doing so in effect they are not an official college student and in effect gives them an extra year.  It sometimes helps in making sure kids get in the required units for their AA degree so they can transfer into a D1 program after JC. Three Finger Glove is the guy to ask to make sure.
