wow,,,,,,,,,,,,,,looks like a wet one, didn't know you were a weatherman as well KD you do wear many hats. I will be safely away from all this rain attending my 30yr HS reunion (a yr early) in sunny Arizona (insert plug for ASU). If the weather is as predicted then I guess I won't miss my sons DH on Sunday.
Already a Category 4-things are getting a little hairy down here already. Doubt there will be any baseball in our area this weekend!
I grew up in Houston and have been through my share of storms but I'll admit this one's making me a little nervous. School districts in our area are meeting today to decide about closing schools. South of Houston's districts are already closed. It's about to get really interesting around here!

KD:
With the late start times we have for this week, it is a dicey situation at best. As soon as I hear anything, I will let you know. Hopefully we won't miss this one. I really enjoy the group we have together. Prototype Marshal players: respectful of the game, hard working and team oriented. We're going to have some fun this fall and next summer!

May it deteriorate to a tropical storm and give Central Mexico some much needed rain. Then the boys can play ball this weekend...

And not put a bunch of Texans on the coast in danger. We can only hope and pray
The DBU showcase has officially been postponed by the powers that be at the university. It will be rescheduled, however, that seems very insignificant right now. May God place a hedge of protection around everyone in the path of the storm.
Dangit.
I have a friend whom is wanting to travel to the dallas area this weekend. We are hearing that it is hard to find gas. Is this true? Kinda afraid to travel not knowing for certain.
Gas is plentiful here in the metroplex. None to be found on I45 though coming from Houston.
a friend in McKinney says McKinney is out of gas, and several surrounding areas........
Just one more reason I'm glad I don't live in McKinney.

....or Galveston.
KD, several stations in plano and allen are out also. Funny thing. Early this morning a station in Plano was sold out. They are still sold out, but the price on the sign went from 274 this morning to 281 this afternoon. I guess if they don't have any, they can charge any price they want.
$2.59 here in Keller.
See everyone at UTA tomorrow.
