I am finding a lot of information about Maple and Ash bats and their durability. What I don't see is the durability that bamboo bats provide. Any comments would be great otherwise I'd like to poll the readers about bat preference.

Southpaw_son had a Mizuno Bamboo for a year plus and loved it. Can't think how many balls he hit with it. It finally cracked on the handle shortly after a trip where his equipment bag came off the plane looking like a pack of wolves had gotten to it. Can't help but think there was a connection.
He's now swinging a Trinity Bat Co. Ash bat. He loves this one as well, and it has been quite durable. I think it might have been the Triple he hit with it the first time he swing it that sold him on the bat.
