Does working out compensate for long toss, IOW, will your arm get just as strong if you work out, or is long toss needed? thanks

Long toss does NOT compensate for working out.

A good program for pitchers:

Long Toss
Lifting- Legs/back/hips mostly
Lightweight Dumbbell Circuits- shoulders
Cardiovascular work- run,run,run
Core Strength Training (med. ball)- hips
Ab & Back work to keep the middle strong

Great pitchers do all of these things.

Keep working hard,
