Hsbbwebster's from the Houston area may be familiar, but I was surprised to learn that the WS MVP, George Springer, stutters, and as a child really struggled. My husband stuttered and very rarely spoke as a child. At that time, there was very little therapy or resources for those with speech impediments.
Springer is heavily involved in a youth program, SAY, and frequently hosts benefits for families in need to send their children who stutter to Camp SAY.
Obviously, Springer never let this be an obstacle, in fact it probably had a lot to do with who he is and what he has accomplished in his young career.
The 2017 World Series MVP is obviously a winner on the field as well as off!
